Hi SPC'ers :-).

I'm very excited to let you know that SmartPayCart (SPC) now supports 'free trial' feature with Paypal, Stripe and Authorize.net!

You can now allow your prospects to try out your products and services for free during the trial period, before automatically switching them over to a paid subscription (unless they cancel subscription during the trial period).

And yes, your users need to still enter their credit card details on the checkout form to complete the purchase as this will allow SPC to charge the users automatically at the end of the trial period.

PLEASE NOTE:  This Is A Beta Release Of SPC.

So if you've a live and busy site, we recommend that you wait until this release becomes final in about 2  weeks. 

How to Install SPC v4.4 (beta):

You can use the 1-click auto-update link in WP admin >> Plugins to upgrade or you can visit your Members area on WickedCoolPlugins.com site to download the latest version and upgrade. 

If you upgrade and notice any unexpected issues with the new version, you can downgrade to the old version of SPC (v4.2.4) . To downgrade, just delete the new version of SPC (v4.3.x) from your WP Admin >> Plugins page, and install / activate the old/stable version (SPC v4.2.4). You won't lose any data when you downgrade. And please open a support ticket with us to let us know of the issue.

The storefront will allow you to organize and display your products for sale. SPC will allow you to create a storefront page where you can display product navigation links, image, pricing details, buynow/addtocart buttons to allow easy purchase of your products.
  • Automated Upgrades: Automatically cancel previous membership in the payment processors like Stripe, Paypal, Authorize.net when a user upgrades their membership.
